Maps and drawings, 1971, from the archaeological excavation of Fort Mitchell. Ranging in scale from 1" = 1 ft. to 1" = 80 ft., they were drawn by David W. Chase, the archaeologist in charge of the project. The records include cross section drawings illustrating the construction of several structures on the site and maps showing their location in the fort. They also include an excavation plan of the site, as well as restoration plans. The series is rounded out with a rendering of the fort in 1830 and a topographical map of the site showing locations of old roads and trails. A listing of the maps and drawings is included with them.
